Terms of Service

The service

peadf lets you edit, share and manage PDFs. The editing tools run in your browser, and you can choose to share a PDF as a hosted link and QR code. We may add, change or remove features over time as the product grows.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you do with peadf and for any files you host with us. When you use hosted links, you must not upload, share or link to content that is illegal, infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, or that you do not have the right to share. You must not use peadf to distribute malware, to harass or harm others, or to break the law.

We may remove hosted content, or suspend or close an account, if these terms are broken.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features, such as exporting edited PDFs and hosting shared files, need a paid subscription. Here is how billing works:

• Your first week costs 99p as an introductory price. After that, your subscription continues at the standard plan price.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each year until you cancel. Renewals are charged at the then current plan price.
• You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid period, so you keep access until then.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch peadf's servers.

The free tools come as they are

The free PDF tools are provided as is, without any warranty. They run in your browser and results can vary between files and devices. Always keep a copy of your original file, and check the output before you rely on it. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with peadf is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using peadf after a change, you accept the updated terms.
